Attempting first lace project at midnight after a long day? SUCH a bad idea.

On the upside, the pattern is easy and the chart is followable...as long as I actually follow it.

I decided to do this for the lace weight yarn. I'm doubling the size and making a stole/big ass scarf.

I uploaded some pictures onto Flickr so I thought I'd share with you guys as well.

Need I mention that these are not exactly dial-up friendly?

The first set are around the yard. The bougainvillea petals that were all over the porch from the wind and the actual bushes and stuff.

I have all this yummy yarn now and can't decide which project(s) to work on.

I have 3 projects already in progress:
A mini-cardigan which is almost at the point of trying on to see if I can separate the sleeves
A mistake rib scarf in Alpaca that I want to finish before the trip to Connecticut in a couple of weeks, and
